Barbara Sandfuchs
Barbara Sandfuchs is an associate in the Litigation department (Complex Commercial Litigation) of our Munich office. She focuses on national and cross-border litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on litigation advice in M&A transactions as well as post-closing litigation. In addition, she is a member of the Firm’s Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & Information Management group and specializes in IT and privacy law.

Barbara studied law at the Universities of Munich (law degree 2012) and Passau (doctorate 2015). She was a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley, Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2013, Barbara has been serving as a lecturer in privacy law at the University of Leipzig. She regularly speaks and publishes on various German/EU privacy law issues and is co-author of a legal commentary on the German Federal Data Protection Act.

Barbara is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
