Biography
Ash Mokbel is an associate in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York. Ash participates in the representation of private investment fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds. He also has experience working on investment transactions such as co-investments, joint ventures, seed capital arrangements and secondary market sales of fund interests as well as the lift-out of management teams.
Prior to joining Weil, Ash was a private funds associate at another international law firm.
Ash received his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was awarded a full scholarship as a St. Thomas More Scholar, and received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany.
