Amanda C. Border is an associate in Weil's Private Equity practice and is based in Boston. Ms. Border participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to complex corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and general corporate matters relating to the portfolio companies of private equity clients.
Prior to joining Weil, Ms. Border was an associate at an international law firm. In 2015, Ms. Border received a Pass with Honors upon completing HBX CORe (Credential of Readiness), a certificate program on the fundamentals of business from Harvard Business School comprised of three courses - Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. Ms. Border received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School where she was Note Editor of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review and a member of the Constitutional Law Moot Court team. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Bentley University.
