Weil Partner Jeff Perry was named one of The National Law Journal’s “D.C. Rising Stars” – a list of 40 “game-changing” private, government and public interest advocacy attorneys aged 40 or under practicing in Washington, D.C. He was chosen from among nearly 200 nominees.
Prior to joining Weil, Jeff was the head of the Federal Trade Commission’s Mergers IV division. He was recognized for his 13-year tenure at the FTC, where he presided over many important contemporary antitrust battles, including in the healthcare and office retail industries. His contributions to the FTC’s successful challenge of Promedica Health Systems' merger with St. Luke's Hospital and a win before the Supreme Court in a challenge to the Phoebe Putney/Palmyra Hospital merger were mentioned.
D.C. Rising Stars recognizes the Washington, D.C. region’s 40 most promising lawyers age 40 and under who have wielded influence in their practice areas in Washington, D.C. and beyond.
