Weil’s Structured Finance & Derivatives group was awarded the “Structured Finance & Securitisation Team of the Year” award at the 2018 International Financial Law Review Americas Awards. The group also advised on two matters that were shortlisted for “Structured Finance and Securitisation Deal of the Year,” including advising Caribbean Financial Group on its first-ever multi-jurisdiction personal loan securitization, and advising Guggenheim Securities, as sole bookrunner, in a $155 million ABS bond offering by Diarough Group, a Belgium-based diamond dealer.
Weil’s Structured Finance and Derivatives practice has a long track record of developing cutting-edge structures at the forefront of the marketplace, and the group and its partners have been recognized as leaders in the area of Structured Finance, Securitisation and Derivatives by a number of industry publications and ranking guides.
The annual IFLR Americas Awards were held on May 17, 2018, in New York. The awards bring together the region’s best legal talent to celebrate the year’s most innovative cross-border Americas transactions, and the teams and firms that advised on them.
