Weil was honored with the Access to Justice Award for its extraordinary pro bono contributions to the DVAP over the last decade, including Weil’s establishment of the Lend-A-Lawyer program, under which a Weil attorney devotes three months to full-time, on-site pro bono representation of indigent clients at DVAP. Weil is the only firm in Dallas to make such a commitment.
Ms. Fusco, who was selected as Weil’s 2013 Lend-A-Lawyer to the DVAP, was recognized for performing more than 713 hours of pro bono service in 2013, including 184 hours of pro bono service outside of the Lend-A-Lawyer program. She assisted indigent clients on a variety of matters, including child custody, consumer law, probate, adoption, guardianship, and divorce cases.
