Weil has been named to the top 10 in the Innovations in Diversity Awards by Profiles in Diversity Journal for its groundbreaking diversity and inclusion initiative Upstander@Weil. The 15th annual awards recognize the corporations, organizations and institutions that have developed innovative solutions in the area of workforce diversity, inclusion and human equity.
Upstander@Weil is an initiative to empower all attorneys and staff to take action to create a more inclusive workplace and community. Weil was recognized among the year’s select honorees, a group that includes only three law firms. Upstander@Weil and the other award winners will be featured in Profiles in Diversity Journal’s fall issue, published on November 25.
Profiles in Diversity Journal is a quarterly B2B magazine focusing on diversity and inclusion in business, government, nonprofit, higher education and the military. The publication is focused on senior leadership, best practices, workforce diversity and inclusion strategies, and recognition of employee contributions.
