Weil was among a select few law firms that were honored for their work on the Restructuring Deal of the Year at the 16th annual Latin Lawyer Awards, which took place in São Paolo on May 5.

Weil was recognized for advising Advent International as stakeholder in the chapter 11 restructuring of Avianca Holdings. The awards honor attorneys and firms who advise on the “most significant deals of the year across Latin America.”
