Weil was recognized as one of the country’s leading law firms for Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) petitions in a new report by Lex Machina.
The 2017 Patent Trial and Appeal Board Report ranked Weil second in representing patent challengers in America Invents Act reviews before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board last year. The Firm stands out as one of the few global law firms to top a list dominated by Intellectual Property boutiques. This is the second year that Lex Machina has published the report and Weil’s second consecutive year on the list.
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board Report is an annual analysis of the administrative body’s behavior that summarizes key trends and provides information on the lifecycles and outcomes of the previous year’s PTAB trials. It is published by Lex Machina, a legal data analytics firm owned by LexisNexis.
