Weil’s Patent Litigation practice and two individual attorneys have been recognized for being among the most active in handling of inter partes review and other post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Managing Intellectual Property’s 2018 year-in-review on PTAB practice identified Weil’s Patent Litigation practice as achieving a ranking of ninth overall nationally for the number of PTAB matters handled by the group.

Two of Weil’s Patent Litigation partners were also recognized among the top 50 attorneys before the PTAB in 2018 -- practice Co-Head Elizabeth Weiswasser and partner Anish Desai.

Since 2015, Euromoney’s Managing Intellectual Property has published its annual analysis and rankings of the Top PTAB Petitioners, Patent Owners and Law Firms based on its review of data from the Docket Navigator database. For the 2018 rankings, Managing Intellectual Property used data pulled from Docket Navigator on January 14, 2019.
