Weil’s Miami Litigation team, which consists of 13 diverse attorneys (including six women and five attorneys of color), was selected by Daily Business Review as Litigation Department of the Year in the General, Small Firm category. Consistently called upon to tackle the most complex and high-stakes disputes in court around the country, Weil’s Litigation team in Miami had a particularly exceptional year in 2016. The team won bet-the-company cases involving billions in potential liability stemming from one of the largest superfund projects in EPA History, advised on complex nationwide MDLs and class actions, and was involved in fast-paced bankruptcy litigations in the oil and gas sector.
The Daily Business Review’s Litigation Department of the Year Awards honor law firms that performed noteworthy work in 2016.
