Weil Publishes Anti-Corruption Enforcement Review

Weil's White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practice is pleased to announce the first installment of our Anti-Corruption Enforcement Review, in which we focus on recent developments and emerging issues in anti-corruption enforcement (including under the FCPA and other international anti-corruption statutes) and their implications for multinational companies. We examine the increasing scope of liability U.S. issuers face for conduct that occurs overseas, the DOJ and SEC's focus on the role of compliance, DOJ and SEC guidance to minimize acquirer FCPA liability in M&A transactions, and the SEC's increasing use of whistleblower referrals.
