Weil was noted for organizing the inaugural “Perfecting the Pipeline” luncheon in Boston. Approximately 30 female investment professionals and lawyers from the largest Boston-based private equity funds met for an afternoon of networking and industry knowledge-sharing. Attendees joined from Berkshire Partners, Bain, ABRY Partners, General Catalyst, Spectrum, Summit, and TA Associates. Most of the female partners and counsel who work with the U.S. Private Equity practice were in attendance; including Boston’s Co-Managing Partner, Marilyn French, who helped kick off the event. Courtney Marcus, Ramona Nee, Allison Liff and Marilyn French were pictured in the publication, as were Tara Gadgil and Weil alum Sharlyn Heslam, both of Berkshire Partners.
