Weil has been ranked among the “Best Places to Work” for members of the LGBT community with a perfect score of 100% on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The Firm again joins the ranks of an elite group of major U.S. businesses which also received top marks this year.
The CEI evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Weil’s diversity and inclusion efforts have fulfilled all of the CEI’s criteria, thereby earning a 100% ranking and the designation of a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.”
