Weil was ranked among the “Best Places to Work” for members of the LGBTQ community, with a 100% score on the 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees.
The CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, internal education and accountability metrics to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion competency, public commitment to LGBTQ+ equality, and responsible citizenship. Weil’s diversity and inclusion efforts have fulfilled all of the CEI’s criteria, thereby earning a 100% ranking and the designation of a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

WeilPride, the Firm’s LGBTQ+ affinity group, was established with the primary purpose of enhancing the recruitment and retention of LGBTQ+ attorneys and staff and fostering a better understanding of the unique issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.
