Weil earned high praise in Legal Media Group’s 2019 LMG Life Sciences rankings, demonstrating the Firm’s continued prowess in the life sciences sector in the United States. LMG’s analysis of the Firm states, “Weil has a long history of dominance in servicing some of the most prominent brand names in the life sciences industry.”

Weil’s U.S. Antitrust practice and Product Liability practice both achieved the premier “Highly Recommended” ranking, while the Patent Litigation practice earned the “Recommended” ranking. In addition, 10 Weil attorneys were named “Life Sciences Stars.” The lawyers recognized are Michael J. Aiello, Yehudah Buchweitz, Raymond Gietz, Ann Malester, John Neuwirth, Steven Newborn, Edward Reines, Charan Sandhu, Diane Sullivan and Elizabeth Weiswasser.

In September, Weil was also presented with the “Litigation Impact Case of the Year (Non-IP)” award for its work advising Johnson & Johnson in the mass tort talc litigation at LMG’s Life Sciences Awards 2019.
