On January 17, 2017, Silicon Valley-based Litigation associate Bambo Obaro was sworn in as Treasurer of the Federal Bar Association’s (FBA) Northern District of California Chapter. The FBA, which has over 80 local chapters across the country, works to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public it serves.
Mr. Obaro previously served as Vice President of the FBA’s Northern District of California Chapter and co-chair of its Young Attorneys Division. He is also a member of Weil’s Professional Development Committee, and dedicates a significant portion of his practice to the Firm's pro bono efforts, including serving as a member of the Silicon Valley Office’s Pro Bono Committee.
