Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is proud to announce its partnership with Lean In, the new non-profit organization committed to offering women encouragement and support to achieve their professional goals. Weil has decided to join forces with Lean In because the firm believes that cultivating an environment that supports the development of more female leaders will lead to a more balanced and inclusive workforce that, in the end, will encourage all Weil employees, men and women, to reach their full potential.
On March 11, 2013 over 150 extraordinary organizations and many thought leaders across pop culture, business, politics and education are coming together to start the Lean In Community. Based on Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s new book, Lean In, which focuses on encouraging women to pursue their ambitions, and changing the conversation from what we cannot do to what we can do, the Lean In Community is the next step toward ensuring that women have the confidence and know-how to achieve their goals.
