World Trademark Review named Weil a leading firm for trademark enforcement and litigation in New York in the 2019 edition of WTR 1000 – The World's Leading Trademark Professionals, noting that the Firm is ideally suited for “mission-critical patent and trademark disputes” that require “supreme trial skills.” The publication also identified IP & Media practice Co-Head Bruce Rich and partner Randi Singer as among the top practitioners in the field.
WTR commended Mr. Rich as “a leader when it comes to online enforcement” and a “foremost copyright expert” based on his successful, longstanding defense of Alibaba Group and eBay in significant trademark litigation.
Ms. Singer was profiled as an “authority on secondary liability infringement” and noted for her ability to “carry the day” in complex IP cases, all while serving as Co-Head of Weil’s Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & Information Management group.
