Weil is advising Verizon Communications Inc. in its agreement to purchase Sensity Systems Inc., a leading provider of internet of things (IoT) solutions. Sensity Systems uses energy-efficient LED lighting to create a high-speed, sensor-based, multiservice IoT platform. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
