Weil Advises Progressive Waste Solutions in $2.67 Billion Merger with Waste Connections

Weil is advising Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd., a provider of non-hazardous solid waste collection and landfill disposal services for commercial, industrial and residential customers in Canada, in its all-stock merger with Waste Connections, Inc., a provider of solid waste collection, transfer, disposal, and recycling services in the United States.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
