Weil is advising OMERS Private Equity and its portfolio company DTI in the pending $1 billion acquisition, together with Harvest Partners, LP, of Epiq Systems, Inc. Upon completion of the transaction, Epiq Systems will become a private company and will combine with DTI, creating a global legal services and technology leader. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.
