Weil Advises Advent Portfolio Company Culligan in its $1.1B Acquisition of AquaVenture

Weil is advising Culligan International Company (a portfolio company of Advent International), a manufacturer and distributor of water filtration and treatment systems for residential, office, commercial and industrial applications, in its pending $1.1 billion acquisition of AquaVenture Holdings Limited, a developer and provider of water purification, disinfection, and desalination solutions. The transaction will result in AquaVenture joining Culligan’s leading consumer water service and solutions platform as a privately held company. The transaction is expected to close in early April 2020 subject to customary closing conditions.
