Weil advised MGM Resorts International (MGM Resorts) in its $2.1 billion acquisition of the 50% stake it did not already own in CityCenter, a site on the Las Vegas Strip that comprises the Aria Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel and Spa, from Infinity World Development Corp., an owner and operator of residential, resort and retail complexes. In a simultaneous transaction, Weil advised MGM Resorts in its $3.9 billion sale and leaseback of the Aria Resort and Vdara Hotel real estate at CityCenter to Blackstone. The transactions closed on September 28, 2021.
