Weil announced in the first half of 2014 the additions of Chris McLaughlin, Reena Gogna and Andrew Wilkinson as partners in its London office. The additions expand the Firm’s market-leading Banking & Finance and European Restructuring practices.
Banking & Finance
Chris, who was most recently a partner at Hogan Lovells, has extensive experience acting for banks and borrowers on the financing of cross-border private equity buyouts, European real estate acquisitions and restructurings. View January 15, 2014 announcement
Reena, who was most recently a partner at Latham & Watkins, focuses on advising lenders and sponsors on acquisition finance transactions with particular expertise in bank/bond structures. View June 2, 2014 announcement
The additions of Chris and Reena follow a strong first quarter for Weil’s London and European leveraged finance practice.
European Restructuring
Andrew joins from Goldman Sachs, where he spent seven years, most recently as European Head and co-Head of Restructuring. He previously established the restructuring team at Clifford Chance before joining Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in 1997, where he was London Managing Partner and Head of European Restructuring.
