Senior Partner Ira Millstein has written an op-ed in Fortune. In the piece, titled “How Corporate America Can Survive During These Uncertain Times,” Ira calls upon directors to take on more active roles in investing in the future growth of the corporations they oversee. Doing so, he argues, will enable corporations to be better prepared to persevere in times of uncertainty. This includes directors partnering with management on the strategy for the future of their corporations in addition to fully understanding the companies they watch over and the industries they are in—all of which Ira discusses in his recently released book The Activist Director.
