Sarah Coyne Recognized in 2018 by GIR as Among the Top 100 Women Globally for Investigations

Weil partner Sarah Coyne was named among the top 100 “Women in Investigations” worldwide by Global Investigations Review in the 2018 edition of its feature on notable female attorneys in the field. This is the first time GIR has published this feature since its inaugural edition in 2015.

Based in New York, Ms. Coyne is a member of Weil’s global White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practice. She represents public and private companies, financial institutions, and other organizations, as well as individuals, in a wide range of civil and criminal white collar matters, including internal and government investigations. Ms. Coyne is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, both in the Eastern District of New York, where she was just the second woman ever to have served as Chief of that office’s Business and Securities Fraud Section, as well as the District of New Jersey.

GIR’s “Women in Investigations” feature spotlights female practitioners from across the globe, from a variety of professional backgrounds and career levels, who have made a mark in the field of investigations. The finalists were selected by the GIR editorial team and represent some of the top names in the worldwide investigations community.

Global Investigations Review covers global trends in investigations and anti-corruption and anti-bribery enforcement, as well as issues relating to financial services misconduct, antitrust, fraud, and money laundering, among others.
