Litigation partner and head of the Firm’s Litigation practice in Dallas, Ray Guy was profiled by The Texas Lawbook as a “Lion of the Texas Bar.”
The profile discusses Mr. Guy’s impressive career as a trial attorney, spanning more than four decades, during which he has represented some of the biggest global companies. Over his career he has won trial and arbitration victories on behalf of the FDIC, the Tampa Bay Lightning team and Credit Suisse, among others.
Litigation partner Paul Genender described Mr. Guy’s character and prowess as a litigator saying, “He’s fiercely competitive but always very ethical and professional.” He added, “He is simply one of the kindest, most generous and good-hearted people I have ever met. Ray is the epitome of what a great lawyer should be.”
When reflecting on his career, Mr. Guy said, “I love being in court. It has been a true privilege to be a lawyer and to work with so many great clients. Every case brings new challenges. I would not have changed a thing about my career.”
