Marcia Goldstein named among "50 Most Powerful Women in New York" for 2013

"In the past year, Marcia Goldstein has helped British special administrators for MF Global reach a $1.4 billion settlement with a firm trustee to allow recovered funds to be distributed to former clients more quickly, and most recently helped bond insurer MBIA reach a settlement with Bank of America over faulty mortgage securities. She has also tackled cases for clients including Barclays, Citibank and Readers Digest. Lawdragon named her one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America for 2012. The firm had revenue of $1.2 billion in 2011. Ms. Goldstein, 60, sits on the boards of InMotion, an organization that provides free legal services to low-income women, and Boys & Girls Harbor, a charter school in East Harlem.
