Banking & Finance partner Justin D. Lee has been named one of Law360’s “Rising Stars” for Banking in recognition of his expertise and record of success advising top financial institutions on sophisticated financing transactions.
Law360’s profile highlighted Mr. Lee’s role in several high-profile, multibillion-dollar acquisition financings, including his work advising Goldman Sachs in $2.2 billion committed financing to support the $4.2 billion acquisition of Duff & Phelps LLC by an investor consortium led by Stone Point Capital and Further Global. He also advised the lead arrangers and joint bookrunners in financing to support Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc., in its proposed acquisition of Sky plc. The article also noted Mr. Lee’s expertise advising U.S. institutions in major transaction financing for European borrowers. He advised the lead arrangers in up to €7.6 billion secured multi-currency credit facilities to finance the contribution of the coffee business of D.E Master Blender 1753 N.V. and that of Mondelez International, Inc. into a joint venture.
