Senior Partner Ira Millstein’s recently released book The Activist Director: Lessons from the Boardroom and the Future of the Corporation was reviewed by strategy + business. The review synopsizes Ira’s long and influential career as a pioneer of corporate governance since the late 1970s. It highlights his work guiding the boards of directors of numerous prominent companies, including General Electric Co., General Motors Co. and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc.
