Senior Partner Ira Millstein was interviewed live on CNBC’s televised program “Power Lunch” about corporate governance and the importance of active directors during times of fiscal uncertainty. Ira highlighted the important traits that should be possessed by those on corporate boards, commenting “We need people on boards who think, can object to the CEO, can raise their voices, have something to say about strategy and partner with the CEO.”
The interview was part of a broader discussion on President Trump’s pro-business agenda versus the potential repercussions of protectionism. Ira’s recently released book The Activist Director was highlighted.
