Frederick Green Named 2018 M&A Trailblazer by The National Law Journal

Partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Transactions practice Frederick Green has been recognized as a 2018 Mergers & Acquisitions “Trailblazer,” by The National Law Journal.

In a special supplement to NLJ published today, Mr. Green is recognized among a group of M&A attorneys.

Mr. Green’s previous representation of NYNEX (now Verizon) in its “merger of equals” with Bell Atlantic, the second-largest deal in U.S. corporate history and the first major transaction to adopt the SEC’s plain English’ initiative for proxy disclosure, was noted, along with his work on some of the most significant mergers in recent years, including the merger of Hughes Aircraft with Raytheon, the sale of Hughes’ satellite business to Boeing, DirecTV’s $67 billion merger with AT&T, Takata in its sale to Key Safety Systems and Straight Path’s acquisition by Verizon for $3.1 billion.

Mr. Green is the 14th Weil partner since late 2015 to be named an NLJ Trailblazer in his or her respective field of expertise.
