The FBA, which has over 80 local chapters across the country, works to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve.
Mr. Reines is a widely recognized patent attorney and an influential figure in the intellectual property community. In addition to his role with the FBA, Mr. Reines also serves as Chair of the Federal Circuit’s Advisory Council and Chair of the Patent Rules Advisory Committee for the Northern District of California, and previously served as president of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and Chair of the AIPLA Amicus Committee. Mr. Reines also teaches patent litigation at both Berkeley and Stanford Law Schools.
