David Lender, Co-Chair of Weil’s global Litigation Department, and Litigation partner Eric Hochstadt and associate Luna Barrington were named as recipients of the 2017 Law360 Distinguished Writing Award, a part of The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement. Their article, “Lower Courts Continue to Disagree on Concreteness Requirement Post-Spokeo,” which appeared in Bloomberg BNA’s Class Action Litigation report on November 16, 2016, was selected as one of the nation’s 25 best law firm articles published in the past year. Mr. Lender and Ms. Barrington are members of Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, and Mr. Hochstadt is a member of Weil’s Antitrust Litigation practice.
The Burton Awards, established in 1999, is funded by the Burton Foundation, a non-profit, academic effort devoted to recognizing and rewarding excellence in the legal profession.
