Corporate partner David Avery-Gee has been ranked second in an article by Financial News covering the Top 10 Deal Lawyers in EMEA in 2020, which cited MergerLinks data ranking the region’s top legal dealmakers by aggregate value of announced deals in 2020. Last year, David was involved in eight announced deals in EMEA totaling more than £50 billion.

He was quoted and highlighted for his work advising Willis Towers Watson PLC in its proposed $80 billion combination with Aon PLC. Murray Cox was also noted for joining Weil as an M&A partner in the London office.
