White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations Co-Head Christopher Garcia has been recognized as White Collar, Regulatory & Compliance “Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal.
The profile of Mr. Garcia highlights his desire from a young age to be a prosecutor and focus on white-collar work, which he attributes to his fascination with criminal law and his parents’ dedication to public service. It also discusses his achievements during his time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. His current role as co-head of Weil’s White Collar Defense, Regulatory and Investigations practice is also mentioned, as well as his recent success in defending Morgan Stanley in a rare insider trading case.
Mr. Garcia is the 12th Weil partner since late 2015 to be named an NLJ Trailblazer in his or her respective field of expertise.
