The National Law Journal has named Weil Antitrust partner Brianne Kucerik as one of its 2017 D.C. Rising Stars.
Ms. Kucerik’s profile includes the most valuable lesson she learned in her first year of practice, who she considers to be her greatest mentor, and one of her keys to success, among others.
When asked to describe her biggest win or accomplishment in practice she noted that, “the best result possible in antitrust M&A is securing unconditional clearance without an extended agency investigation. I have secured this result in more than 10 transactions over the past year alone, working with clients across industries from pharmaceuticals to retail.”
Ms. Kucerik specializes in counseling clients through the merger review process at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and routinely obtains antitrust clearance for major, multi-billion dollar transactions. She has experience across a variety of industries, including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, retail, hospitality and leisure, information technology and software, and automotive.
The National Law Journal’s 2017 D.C. Rising Stars list of 40 individuals was selected from a large pool of smart, young nominees. They looked at key elements including success on the highest stages and diversity of practice groups when making their selections.Read full profile published by The National Law Journal (may require registration/subscription).
