Partner and head of the Firm’s Environmental practice Annemargaret Connolly has been recognized as a 2016 Energy & Environmental “Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal.
In a special NLJ supplement, Ms. Connolly was named among the 48 groundbreaking attorneys honored for their “deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission” and their record of success in the areas of energy and environmental law.
Ms. Connolly is credited with pioneering a practice focused on identifying and allocating environmental risks in transactions. The profile spotlights the unique role she has played in numerous landmark deals, including Hicks Muse’s (now Kainos Capital) acquisitions of Resistol and Stetson Hats; Molson Companies’ 1991 acquisition and subsequent sale of DuBois Chemicals; and Dow Chemical’s current $130 billion merger with DuPont.
