Patent Litigation partner Anne Cappella has been named among the “Top Women Lawyers” in California of 2017 by the Daily Journal.
Ms. Cappella was praised for her multidisciplinary reach which includes leading global patent litigation and advising on large deals for clients including Intel and T-Mobile USA. She was highlighted as co-counsel representing Intel in a pending multi-patent case where she is fending off claims that products developed by Intel, Broadcom, Qlogic, Mellanox Technologies, Emulex, and others infringe eight patents directed to intelligent network interface adapters used for Ethernet communications.
She was also recognized for her role as co-lead counsel representing T-Mobile USA in pending multi-patent cases the University of Minnesota filed against the four largest wireless service providers. The asserted patents are directed to 4G LTE cellular communications and name as an inventor, among others, Georgios Giannakis, director of the university’s Digital Technology Center.
