Larry Horton is a partner in the Tax Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, concentrating on financial instruments, derivatives and structured finance.
Mr. Horton's knowledge includes the tax aspects of swaps and other derivative instruments, receivables securitizations, REMICs, collateralized loan obligations, debt repackagings and structured notes.
Mr. Horton graduated from Hastings College of the Law and received a masters in taxation from New York University Law School. He also graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in engineering physics, and from Stanford University with a masters degree in electrical engineering.
