Ted Jou is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he specializes in patent litigation. He has practiced before several United States District Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and has extensive experience in Section 337 Investigations before the United States International Trade Commission, in actions involving patents covering various technologies, including semiconductor fabrication, digital imaging, signal processing, wireless communications, and multitouch interfaces.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Jou served as a law clerk to the Honorable Tu M. Pham of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. He also previously served as an intern in the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the United States Department of Justice and as an intern for US Senator Dianne Feinstein. He received a JD from the University of Virginia and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.
