Sutton Ansley is an associate in Weil’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on patent litigation, including 337 investigations before the US International Trade Commission and district court patent litigation.
Mr. Ansley has represented clients before the International Trade Commission and US District Courts in litigations involving the fields of metallurgy, computer architecture, user interface, cable set-top boxes and smartphones.
Mr. Ansley earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.S., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in physics-engineering from Washington & Lee University. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
