Steven Xiang has extensive experience in cross-border M&A transactions, private placement and public offerings of securities, private equity investments, joint ventures, as well as general corporate and business advice. For more than ten years, he practiced while residing first in New York, subsequently in Hong Kong and now in Shanghai.

Mr. Xiang has represented both buyers and sellers of shares and assets. His experience is particularly significant in representing clients in cross border M&A transactions and private equity investments relating to Chinese companies and the resolution of issues unique to these types of transactions.

Mr. Xiang has also represented issuers and underwriters in many securities transactions, particularly public offerings and private placements for companies based in China. His most recent projects include the global offering by a Chinese financial institution.

Mr. Xiang also represents a number of multinationals in their joint venture, restructuring and corporate matters in China. His China investment experience covers the following businesses: logistics, chemicals, distribution, shipping, financial services, real estate, paper and packaging, electronics and telecommunications.
