- Represented Lone Star Technologies in its $2.1 billion sale to United States Steel Corporation
- Represented UniTek USA, LLC in its acquisition of 180 Connect, Inc.'s cable business and selected markets of 180 Connect Inc.’s satellite business from DIRECTV
- Represented DLJ Merchant Banking Partners in its acquisition of Total Safety U.S., Inc.
- Represented BancTec, Inc. in the pending Form S-1 registration of its 46,575,000 shares of common stock with the Securities Exchange Commission
- Represented Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in its $2.15 billion sale of its investment management division to Bain Capital LLC and Hellman & Friedman LLC
Ms. Carter is a member of the firm’s hiring committee and is actively involved in providing pro bono services to the local community. Ms. Carter received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2006. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the J.L. Turner Legal Association and is admitted to practice law in Texas.
