Scott R. Dayton is an associate in the Litigation department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges' Houston office. Mr. Dayton practices in the area of product liability.
Mr. Dayton’s legal experience includes representing clients in several industries including automotive manufacturing, automotive component part manufacturing and recreational products manufacturing.
During his career, he has represented clients including General Motors Corporation, Bombardier Recreational Products Inc, Intier Automotive Inc. and Lexar Media, Inc.
Mr. Dayton received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1998. He received his B.B.A degree in Business Management, cum laude, from Texas A&M University in 1994.
Mr. Dayton is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
