R. Scott Cohen, a partner in the firm’s Dallas office, has practiced in the area of corporate and securities law for over 30 years. Mr. Cohen’s practice concentrates on domestic and international mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities.
Mr. Cohen is a member of the Texas State Bar and is a member and former chairman of the Corporations Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the Texas Bar. He also serves as a director of the Texas Business Law Foundation.
Mr. Cohen has led acquisition and financing transactions for such clients as Texas Instruments Incorporated, Viasystems Group, Inc., Thermadyne Holdings Corporation, Berg Electronics, Inc., International Wire Group, Inc., Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Companies, Inc., Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Bottling Group, Inc., The Morningstar Group, Inc., and Inet Technologies, Inc.
