Sacha Jamal

Sacha Jamal is a senior associate in the Corporate Department of Weil’s Dallas office.  He has a diverse practice with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions (public and private), private equity, securities, finance and corporate counseling.   

Mr. Jamal also has extensive experience living and working in Japan.  From June 2009 to June 2010, Mr. Jamal was seconded to the global headquarters of Panasonic Corporation in Osaka, Japan as senior legal counsel.  At Panasonic, Mr. Jamal assisted the legal group with international commercial agreements and minority investments as well as resolving commercial disputes.  He also lectured extensively on various aspects of American law.

Mr. Jamal has significant experience in multiple industries and has been part of the team that has represented the following clients: International Wire Group, Koch Industries, Lindsay Goldberg, Lone Star Technologies, Diamond Castle, HM Capital Partners, Hunt Financial, Irving Place Capital, Texas Instruments, Citigroup, HBK, Genstar Capital and Summit Partners.

Mr. Jamal has co-authored "The Latest Tips You Must Know Before You Go-Shop" in the October 2010 Private Equity Alert and "Qualifying as an Excluded Party in a Go-Shop: Can You Wake Up Late But Still Say You Were On Time?" in the August 2007 Private Equity Alert.  He has also presented an in-house continuing legal education program regarding Deal Protection Measures.
