Robert Krasnodebski is a legal advisor admitted to practice in Poland, a certified tax advisor, a partner in Weil’s tax department and the head of the Warsaw office’s tax practice.
After graduating from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 1991, Robert became a lecturer at its Financial Law Institute, where he continued to work until 2007. In 1997 he qualified as a legal advisor and as a certified tax advisor. Before joining Weil in 2000, he headed the tax practices at Clifford Chance and Hogan & Hartson.
Robert provides tax and legal expertise and frequently represents clients before tax authorities and courts.
The prestigious legal ranking publication Chambers & Partners has repeatedly ranked Robert as one of the leading tax specialists in Poland. Sources say that having him as an adviser is “like working with several tax experts rolled into one.” He is seen as particularly impressive with regard to tax structuring and litigation. For several years now, he has also been recommended as a tax expert by the international legal rankings The Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer? and Expert Guides.
Robert was named by his peers and leading Polish companies as the best tax lawyer in Poland in surveys carried out by Gazeta Prawna in 2006, by Forbes Polska in 2007, by Rzeczpospolita in 2008, and by Forbes Polska in 2010. He was named by Rzeczpospolita as a lawyer recommended for tax proceedings in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
In addition to co-authoring a commentary concerning corporate income tax in Poland, Robert has written a number of articles which were published in specialist journals. He is a regular commentator for legal newspapers and periodicals and a frequent speaker at numerous Polish and international conferences and seminars.
