Piotr Tomaszewski is an American advocate and a partner in the Warsaw office. Prior to joining the Warsaw office, Mr. Tomaszewski worked in the New York office as well as other international law firms in Chicago from 1994 to 1996, and from 1991 to 1993 in Paris. While working abroad, in addition to being regularly involved in merger and acquisition transactions, he also worked on various investments and financial projects in Eastern and Central Europe. Mr. Tomaszewski has participated in the formation and structuring of private equity funds investing in Eastern and Central Europe portfolio companies.
Mr. Tomaszewski specializes in M&A and private equity/venture capital transactions. He also provides comprehensive advice to public and private businesses on restructuring and privatization issues and in connection with the sale of shares or assets of enterprises in various industries and jurisdictions. Most frequently, Mr. Tomaszewski represents foreign investors conducting business in Poland, in particular institutional funds and private equity and venture capital funds.
